Our Story
We're Abhishek and Anurag — better known as Sunny and Jimmy. Two brothers who grew up obsessed with anime, action movies, comics, and the kind of bold graphic streetwear we could only see online but never buy in India.
Jimmy is the elder one. The warm one. The brother who lived inside every movie he watched. Sunny is the darker child — quieter, sharper, drawn to the villains and the corners of the frame nobody else looked at. Two brothers, same house, completely different ways of seeing the same story.
But we shared one thing: the same question kept coming up. Why can't we get this in India?
One day we stopped asking. We started building.
From the Garage to the First Tee
MONTEYN didn't start with a factory or a fashion degree. It started with two brothers, a small budget, and a stubborn belief that we could figure it out ourselves.
We learned to print by hand — screen printing, DTF, DTG. We watched tutorials at 2 AM, ruined dozens of blanks, burned shirts, mixed inks wrong, and slowly figured out what worked. Our very first product, the Iconic Berserk Tee, was screen printed by us, in our own setup, with our own hands. Every shirt of that first batch passed through both of us before it went out.
That tee isn't just our first product. It's the proof we could actually do this.
Building MONTEYN together also brought us closer. Two brothers who used to argue about everything suddenly had to collaborate on every decision — design, fabric, ink, fit. The differences that used to drive us apart started making the brand stronger. MONTEYN wasn't just building a brand. It was building us.
